There are two main ways to set up Slack notifications in Notion:

1. Using database automations:

This method allows you to receive notifications in Slack whenever specific actions occur within your Notion databases, such as adding new pages or editing properties. Here's how to do it:

• Open the database where you want to set up notifications.

• Click the three dots (...) in the top right corner.

• Select Automations.

• Click Add trigger.

• Choose the desired trigger, such as "Page added" or "Property edited".

• Select "Send Slack notification to..." as the action.

• You'll be prompted to connect your Slack account if you haven't already. Choose the destination channel for the notifications.

• You can further customize the notification message by clicking the message preview and editing the text.

2. Setting personal notifications:

This method allows you to receive notifications in Slack whenever you're mentioned in a Notion page, comment, or database. Here's how to set it up:

• Go to Settings & members in the sidebar.

• Click on My notifications & settings.

• Select Slack notifications.

• Click Add new account if your Slack workspace isn't listed.

• Choose the desired Slack workspace from the dropdown menu.

Once you've set up either of these methods, you'll start receiving notifications in your chosen Slack channel whenever the specified triggers are met.
