It’s been a crazy week!
I launched StartOS on Product Hunt On 2nd October, and it got #1 Product of the Day!
Within hours, I had 10K website visits and 4 figures in sales.
At the time of writing, the launch week just ended and we held for #8 Product of the Week!
Here’s why I built it- and what it took.
The StartOS Origin Story
As a startup ourselves, at Seamless XR, we faced the challenge of managing our workflow efficiently while keeping costs under control.
The inspiration behind building StartOS came from the realization that using multiple SaaS tools was not only costly but also led to fragmented knowledge and resources across different applications.
Docs in Drive, Projects in Asana, Finances in Excel- you get the point.
With traditional SaaS tools, we also experienced integration issues, time leakage when switching between apps, and the burden of managing multiple subscriptions.
This prompted us to create an operating system that was built in one app- which eventually became StartOS!
StartOS contains a comprehensive set of modules, each with its own unique features, to cater to every aspect of my startup and possibly yours too!

We store and tag valuable information, such as articles and press releases, and easily pull them into front-end views or the competitor database.
We use automations like Save To Notion to easily scrape and store data in this database!
ConnectOS: Build Strong Connections
ConnectOS is the Notion CRM you’ve always dreamed of.
It offers an automation-enabled CRM backend, allowing us to store information directly from LinkedIn using tools like Bardeen.
I can tag contacts based on their role, whether they are investors, customers, or collaborators.
The integration with other StartOS modules and Slack keeps my communication streamlined and organized.
Now it has a cool AI feature- read to the end to find out what!
ContentOS: AI Powered Content Creation and Repurposing
Content creation is essential for any startup, and the ContentOS module makes it easier than ever.
With pre-built AI prompts and a content creation database, we can generate ideas, assign tasks, and track the progress of each stage. It’s really rapid too!
The AI-assisted content repurposing feature allows me to repurpose my content with just a few clicks.
ProjectOS: Streamline Project Management
Managing projects and tasks is a breeze with the ProjectOS module updated with the new Projects and Sprints Function from Notion.
I can create projects, assign team leads and members, and even set project dependencies.
The central dashboard provides a comprehensive view of all my team’s tasks, and the task calendar helps me stay organized and on top of deadlines.
There’s individual dashboards for each team member too- to avoid clutter and ensure everyone knows their responsibilities.

I can manage my team, tag them with responsibilities and skills, and create highly functional sub-teams for sprints.
The job board feature makes hiring easier, with pre-built templates and integration with the ConnectOS (CRM) module.
The team and meetings module allows me to track my growing team, schedule meetings, and ensure follow-ups are never missed.
FinanceOS: Take Control of Finances
Managing finances is crucial for the success of any startup, and the FinanceOS module simplifies the process.
I can add funding round information, track accounting and cash flow statements, and estimate burn rate using the burn rate and runway estimator.
The automated cap table calculations and startup valuations feature provide valuable insights into my startup’s financial health. It’s like Excel on steroids?
